The sister property George's House is similar in character but The Gables additionally lends itself to young children and elderly people as the front design of the property has five steps down and a good sized patio with garden furniture. The property is a short stroll from the colourful harbour offering a good variety of eating venues and curiosity shops Weymouth offers a wide range of wine bars and old fashioned pubs. Weymouth with its superb sandy beach, enjoys the best of British climate and is an excellent base for exploring fabled Dorset country and villages at all times of the year.  The coast offers some of the best sailing and walking in England.
